2 cups half n half
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup sugar
8 oz chocolate chips
1 tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp PURE vanilla extract
1/2 cup cashews
12 large marshmallows or a bunch of small ones (about 1 cup)
Combine all the ingredients but the cashews and marshmallows in a saucepan. Place saucepan over medium heat. Stir mixture until just starting to bubble. Remove mixture from heat and put saucepan in bowl of ice and water. Stir till cool.
Get the ice cream maker primed up and turning. Add the mixture. Start cutting the marshmallows with a scissors until you have small marshmallows. After ice cream begins to solidify (about 20-24 minutes) slowly drop in the marshmallows and cashews.
When your ice cream reaches thickened consistency, you’re done. Just freeze the stuff if you like it firm or begin eating instantly.
