Ants Fear Rain
An entire nest of ants decided to move from point A to B. Unfortunately it seems, my kitchen and house seemed to be between point A and B. Smashing ants every three mintues got really old quick. We have no raid and only four ant traps that were over a year old. What to do.
I reached for the giant container of cayenne pepper that I’ve had for several years now and sprinkled it all around the outside of the house. It was a food service container. The ones you see and say “now how the f*(k and I going to use all that up…”
After sprinkling outside, I swept it into the cracks of floors in problem areas inside. Within an hour the ant problem was gone and the dog and kids weren’t covered in DOW chemistry… Now I need another large container of Cayenne.
* no one had burning hands and eyes either.
