Farina Dumplings

Untested recipes from worn 3×5 cards Grandma’s lost recipe box.  Saved for a rainy day.

Ingredients

  • farina
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Mix everything together and add only enough farina to make a medium stiff dough.  Take a teaspoonful at a time and drop into boiling soup.

Simmer for 15 minutes and let stand in the soup for 5 to 10 minutes longer.
